Day 94 - Unplugging the Christmas tree.
My Christmas tree is on a timer. I know that is kind of nerdy, but sometimes I get home from work late and it’s kind of nice to walk in and have the lights twinkling.
I am off to my parents for Christmas and since I am afraid that my flame retardant tree might catch fire, I decided to unplug it.
I also turned my heat down to 60 degrees. It is supposed to snow, so it will likely be freezing in here when I get home on Saturday, but at least I have saving on my electric bill by unplugging the tree AND turning the heat down.
